THE PATH OF A PROTOCOL
In Catalonia alone, more than 4,600 families are searching for relatives who disappeared during the Spanish Civil War and the dictatorship. Today, 75 years later, they still have no answers. Two of these families, with the collaboration of the Forensic Genetics Laboratory of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Barcelona, have created a new protocol for a DNA Bank to identify those who disappeared in that conflict.
